| Project Description: | The Americans’ Changing Lives (ACL) study seeks to describe the major activities, satisfactions and problems which Americans experience in major areas of their lives - family, work, and social and community activities. It seeks to discover how these vary and change across the lifespan of individuals and across varied social groups in our society. SRO’s key objectives will be to manage and implement the data collection effort and to provide support to the ACL study staff in the following areas: participate in questionnaire redesign activities; assist with tracking and respondent documents development; implement questionnaire programming; plan and conduct instrument testing; hire and train field interviewers; develop respondent payment and incentive plans; carry out data collection; implement data handling/processing activities; open-end code up to 3 instances per case; and develop a final report of SRO activities. |
